Getting to Champagne Region and Reims
Question:
We are flying in to the airport. We want to go to the champagne region, how far is the airport from there? How far away is Reims? Thank you.
Answer:
I’m not sure about the exact distance between the Beauvais Airport and the Champagne Region/Reims but unless you hire a car you will need to go thru Paris. This blog puts the distance at about 160kms (100 miles).
There is a new TGV (high speed) line between Paris and Reims and I believe it now takes less than 1.5 hours to make the trip. Meaning if you took the shuttle into Paris and then the TGV to Reims you are looking at about 3 hours of travel time. I put the drive time at 1.5 to 2 hours.
